My name is Amy McDonough and not only do I work as a labor/delivery/postpartum registered nurse, but I am also the mother of four and grandmother of three. To say I love babies would be an understatement!  

As a nurse I value the education I provide my patients and take it very seriously.  Part of the education I provide in the hospital to new parents involves car seat safety.  Securing your infant appropriately is critical but in addition to that it is very important that baby is not wearing fluffy cold weather garments under the harness.  I often have the unpleasant task of informing parents that the beautiful puffy snowsuit they bought is just not safe in a car seat.
