How do we collect information from you?

Do we share your information?

For example, when you complete a purchase on our site, we may share your payment method information (such as your credit or debit card number, card expiry date, CVC code, and bank or issuer details), purchase amount, and date of purchase with third-party data processors who use the information to complete the transaction within the systems of the credit card networks. 

Under no circumstances will we sell your information to advertisers or other third parties for marketing purposes (including third-party advertising targeted to your interests) or for any other purpose.

We may share information about you if necessary, in our good faith judgment, to comply with laws or regulations or in response to a valid subpoena, order, or government request, or to protect the rights of SeatSnugz or others.

In the unlikely event of a sale or merger of SeatSnugz, LLC or any of our business assets, our customers’ personal information and other information we have collected as described in this privacy policy may be among the transferred assets.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

 

How do I access or change my information?

You can review and change certain personal information related to your use of our website (such as your name and contact information). To access your information on our website, simply sign in to your account using your login and password, and you will be able to edit your personal information in your account profile.

You can also ask us to update your personal information by contacting us as described in the section entitled, “How do I contact you?” below. Please note that any request to update your personal information may take up to 10 days for us to process.

 

How do I make choices about receiving promotional communications?

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive promotional information, such as information about special offers and sales events, you can let us know by contacting our customer service as described in the section entitled, “How do I contact you?” below or you can click on the self-service unsubscribe.

If contacting customer service, please be sure to include your full name and the email address you used when you registered with or made a purchase from us. If you ask us to remove your name and address from promotional lists, we will maintain your name in a “do not contact” file to ensure that we can honor your request.  Please note that it may take us up to 10 days to process your request, during which period you may continue to receive communications from us. If you change your mind, you can start receiving promotional communications from us again by logging into your online account and changing your preferences, by signing up when you visit our website or our stores or when you enter a sweepstakes or contest, or by contacting customer service.

Please note that when you make an online purchase from us, we will continue to confirm your order status and shipment by email. We may also need to contact you via telephone, email, or postal mail with questions or information regarding your order.

 

How do we protect kids’ privacy?

We are concerned about the privacy and safety of children when they use the internet. We will never knowingly request personally identifiable information online from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. Our website is a general audience site, but it is not targeted to or intended for use by children.  If we learn that we have received information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information from our database.

Your Consumer Rights

  • Access: California consumers have the right to request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them in the last 12 months. They may also request the categories of personal information we have collected about them, the categories of sources of such collection, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information, the categories of third parties with whom we share and sell their personal information, the categories of personal information we have disclosed and sold about them in the preceding 12 months, and the categories of third parties to whom we sold personal information in the preceding 12 months.
  • Deletion: California consumers have the right to request deletion of their personal information (subject to certain exceptions).
  • Opt Out of Sale: California consumers have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information. As described above, we do not sell personal information to third parties for the commercial purpose of advertising or for any other purpose.  If our policy changes, California consumers above the age of 16 have the right to opt out of these sales at any time. We do not knowingly collect online or sell personal information about consumers under the age of 13.
  • Nondiscrimination: California consumers have the right to receive equal service and price and not be discriminated against even if they exercise any of their other CCPA rights, however, financial incentive programs may condition participation on collection of personal information.

Your Nevada Rights

2019 Nev. L. 211 permits customers of SeatSnugz who are Nevada residents to request that we not sell their personal information.
